Dulwich Folk Dance Club is a well established and very friendly, inclusive Folk Dance Club meeting on Thursday evenings from 8pm to 10 pm, extended to 10.30pm on special event nights.

Our dances are mainly folk or country dances dating back to the 17th Century up to the present time, including contras, squares and Playford and come mainly from England, sometimes with Sottish and American influences. We also have occasional international dances, including French, to keep life interesting. A variety of experienced Callers teach each dance and then guide us while we dance them, making for a very satisfying result. Just see the joyful smiles all around as we dance! (And hear the laughter when we “go wrong”!)

The Club welcomes beginners and experienced, singles and couples, the young and the more mature. (Indeed, we are proud to say our members span a wide age range.) So, there is no excuse - come along and join us, if you will, for fun evenings of dance!

Cost: £4 (£5 for non members).
