by Bob Barrett

BATH CEILIDHS are no ordinary barn dances. Buzzing with upbeat energy right from the start, the great bands we book give you a thrilling and amazing evening of exuberant dancing and fun, whatever your age or experience. There is a caller at all the dance to guide you through so it is no problem if you have never done anything like this before. Don't worry if you go wrong, it just adds to the fun!

Dancing starts at 7.30pm prompt, with doors open from 7pm. Free parking & bar available. Tickets on sale at the door. ADULT £10. CONCESSION £8 STUDENTS £5. 7-18 yrs £2. UNDER 7 Free.

The Pigeon Swing are: Dan Quinn (melodeons), Martin Brinsford (harmonica and feet), Paul Burgess (fiddle), Ian Kearey (bass guitar) and Tim Normanton (banjo) who play a repertoire that is strictly French Canadian (Québécois) culled from recordings and transcripts of the old players, but played in a style for English ceilidhs. Baz Parkes; The ebullient (what a great word) front man of the Ironmasters (aka All-Blacked Up) will be calling for Pigeon Swing, which will make this a very entertaining evening.
