Fourth Brummie Contra Anniversary Dance: Good Friday

Event scheduled for evening, since several regular dancers must work today.

Travellers welcomed from 7.15pm. An inclusive hot drink & biscuits, and in 20min interval.

Dancing 7.30 to 10.40.


On the door: £10.50 (Students: £6.50).

Ask at the door to SAVE £2 for your FIRST attendance. Bring a new friend along to a dance: you each save £2.

You may also - up to 6 days in advance - email an "I will be there" from the website - to save £1.50. At a previous dance, you can always join the "I will be there" list for the same saving.

THIS DANCE ONLY on our 4th Anniversary is at the QUAKER Meeting House: B30 1JT, 65 Linden Rd, adjacent Bournville Green.

Spectacular, Edwardian Hall with "hammerbeam" roof: small car park. Best to park on Sycamore Rd, and use footway to walk across the Green.

Cross City Rail stops at Bournville Station. Bus 27 at 18.18 and 18.45 then stops across the road (or half mile walk). Hall also on 11A & 11C "Outer Circle" bus routes (approx every 20mins).

The following Brummie Contra at B91 2SF (Elmdon Heath) on 8th April is extended to include two different mini concerts with songs from "Maivish" -  That's Jaige & Adam from Canada. Usual zippy dances, with the unique and superb calling of Geoff Cubitt.
