The Set and Turn Single web site contains listings of all the dance events that we know about. We list dances in the "English" tradition which includes English country dance, "Playford" style dances, contra dances and ceilidhs. See the frequently asked questions: Listing events pages for more information about what type of events we list. 

What's on ?

To see what is on this week click go to   "What's on"  in the menu bar at the top of the page.  You can view this week, this month or the next three months of events.  From This month  you can  jump to a future month.  You can also search the Calendar.  If you want to see all entries for a particular band or club, for example,  just type the name in the search box and click search

Regular club nights

Regular (weekly, fortnightly etc) club nights are also listed in the calendar.      If you want to see all club nights in eg Kent, then type Kent into the search box click on search.   The results you get depend entirely on what details clubs have put in their entry.    At the time  the time of writing (May 2012)  not all clubs regular meetings are listed, and it is likely to be some time before the regular club night listings are comprehensive

Directory

We also list contact details for clubs, bands and callers and display (morris, clog etc) teams

To find contact details go to Directory in the Top menu and select the appropriate contact page and look under the first letter of the name (ignore "the", "and" "a" and similar).    Callers are listed under the first word of their name rather than their surname, eg Chris Turner  and Cat Kelly are both under C.
